Hi Unity Users! This week’s digest includes important information about Unity and reminders about upcoming events.
⚠️ Important: Account Expiration Beginning April 1, 2026
Our automated account expiration process is going into effect on April 1, 2026. Beginning April 1, any account that has not logged into the account portal in the past 180 days will be idle-locked. Idle-locked users are unauthorized to log in via SSH or to use the Open OnDemand and Globus web interfaces.
If your account becomes idle-locked, simply log in to the account portal to restore access. You will receive a confirmation message once your lock has been removed. Please note that it may take up to 10 minutes for your status to be updated across all Unity systems.

🆕 New Command for Account Usage
squota is a new command available that allows you to see your individual account usage across all the scratch file systems.
